LINCOLN Zvasiya’s career continued to take a nosedive this week after the former Zimbabwe international was offloaded by Premiership side Harare City.

The Sunshine Boys have become the latest side to send Zvasiya packing after he could not last the distance at FC Platinum on his return from South Africa.

Zvasiya was axed by South Africa side Kaizer Chiefs two years ago.

Harare City have also terminated the contract of Nicholas “Tiko” Alifandika, while Phineas Bhamusi has joined CAPS United.

Club secretary-general Mathew Marara said their resolutions had not changed.

“We will continue with the coaches and this weekend’s game will be tough in that the players are rusty, but I hope they will manage to play well,” said Marara.

“The team will miss the services of Tino Kadewere who is in Sweden and is likely to go to France while James Jam is suspended after his red card.

“We are going to replace one player and two slots will remain vacant.”

CAPS United have the best away record in the Premiership, losing only two games when the club was hit by internal strife, against How Mine (abandoned) and against Triangle.

“Our home record is not pleasing, but I hope this can be the turning point and we manage a win,” said coach Mark Mathe, whose team hasn’t conceded a goal in six games.
