HUSBAND STRIKES WIFE WITH AXE FOR SPRINKLING SUBSTANCE IN HIS FOOD

A PLUMTREE man has been arrested after he killed his wife after catching her sprinkling some unknown substance in his porridge.

The 34-year-old man, Honest Nkomo, struck Milikani Moyo on the head with an axe and she died on the spot.

In a statement, police said:

“Police in Mdlambuzi have arrested Honest in connection with a case of murder which occurred at Ntambana, Khame area, on July 16.

“The suspect struck his wife, Milikani (27) with a pick on the head after finding her sprinkling unknown substances in the plate of porridge the suspect was supposed to eat.

“The victim died on the spot.”
