I am more focused: POY

The single, dubbed A Champion’s Pain chronicles the trials and tribulations that he went through until he made it to the top.

In an interview on the sidelines of a modelling show at the weekend, POY said he was now working on a video for the single.

He said many things had changed in his life and he wanted to express that through music.

“I know I have been involved with women and abuse of alcohol in the past and that was an unfortunate time of my life, but I have changed. This album talks about my struggle with my past problems and how I made it to where I am,” said POY.

He said his troubles were mostly in December last year when he was involved in heavy partying that almost derailed his musical career. “Now I am more focused.  You know December is a hectic month and I was just caught up in the moment. I had to look at my career and save it than throw it down the drain,” said POY.

He said the music video for A Champion’s Pain would be done in August and it would be out at the end of that month. “I will drop the music video in August and it will be out of this world, watch this space. I am working with good producers and they are very competent,” said POY.
