‘I wanted to buy mom a house’

The Sierra Leone contestant kept Biggie’s house entertained with his dancing and singing for the past eight weeks. Now the house is left with a void.

Bassey, who is known to be bubbly, felt rather sad to be out of the game because he was betting on himself to be the winner.
“I am really not myself, I feel down because I wanted that money to buy my mother a house and a car for me. I am tired of using taxis. Although his wish of winning was not granted the 22-year-old says he is proud of himself.

“As young as I am I feel like I have accomplished so much. I have always been a fan of BBA after watching the season of Nigerian winner Karen.
“I’m glad to have experienced being in the game,” says Bassey.

Even though Bassey seemed to get a long with every housemate he says he is only going to miss Melvin, Sulu, Beverly, Elikem and Sulu.
He is betting on Melvin or Cleo to emerge this year’s BBA winner.

Those remaining in the house once again were faced with placing their fellow housemates up for possible eviction this week.
Pokello’s lover, Elikem, is flying with five nominations from housemates followed by Annabel and Cleo who received three votes.

Other housemates – Bimp, Nando, Beverly, Feza and Oneal – received two votes.
Dilish, Melvin and Sulu received one vote and South Africa’s Angelo has not been put up for eviction this week. — Sowetan.
