GOSPEL singer Fiona Chinembiri has released a new single that she feels will open fresh paths in her music career.

The track, titled “Uchabereka”, was drawn from Bible verses and talks about Jesus’ mother, Mary.

In an interview with this publication, the musician said the song has been well-received by her fans.

“The response has been amazing, to say the least. The feedback has been positive. I’m so happy with the reception thus far,” she said.

She added that she hopes the song will have a positive impact on people’s lives.

“The song is all about hope as it speaks to everyone.

“The message is that you will conceive in whatever you wish in life just as Mary, the mother of Jesus, conceived through the Holy Spirit.

“I would like my music to spread and reach many people so that I can help save lives by bringing them to God for salvation,” added Chinembiri.

The musician said she is working on more songs that will be released in the near future.

Her compositions, she said, are totally inspired by the Word of God.

“If you release your music and get positive feedback, it encourages you to do more. I want to keep my fans entertained and, at the same time, spreading the Word to them. Thus, more music will be coming their way.”

Chinembiri is a mother of five and has been in the music industry for a while.

She has shared the stage with revered singers like Minister Michael Mahendere and plans to hold more shows throughout the country.

Some of the albums under her belt are “Isai paCalvary”, “Dzokai KunaShe”, “Recovery”, “Single Your Love”, “Munamato Wangu” and “Artists for Christ”. She also has a single titled “Glory”.
