IN-FORM Ngezi Platinum Stars winger Talent “Fadiga” Chamboko wants to take his fine form into the Chibuku Super Cup final at Rufaro this coming weekend.

Ngezi will take on Dynamos in a repeat of last year’s final which the miners lost 0-2 at Baobab.

This time the battle will be at Rufaro.

Chamboko, who opened the scoring in his side’s final league game of the season against CAPS United at Rufaro, is confident that they will carry their good form into the final.

The former ZPC Kariba and Manica Diamonds forward has been in fine form and has already scored against Dynamos, Chicken Inn, Simba Bhora and CAPS United.

“I am happy that I managed to score some crucial goals this past season and most of them against big clubs.

“I am happy that I managed to score the opening goal on the last day of the Castle Lager Premier League match against CAPS United at Rufaro on Sunday.

“Scoring in the opening 10 minutes gave the team some confidence and we went on to win the match convincingly.

“We have a competitive side that can match any team,” said Chamboko.

The 34-year-old believes they have what it takes to win the Chibuku Super Cup.

“We are now focusing on the next assignment against Dynamos in the Chibuku Super Cup. We are going to take the game seriously and we need a win so that we can participate in the African Safari again next year.

“We have been Dynamos’ bogey side this season but that will not make us relax as the final is a different match day game altogether.

“We will not take them for granted saying we won against them in the league but we will take the game as a completely new game.

“Everyone is looking forward to the final and the boys are working hard to ensure that we win. It is everyone’s wish to return to Africa (CAF competitions) and we will do our best to see that it happens.”
