Inline Academy’s unbeaten run continues

Inline Academy’s unbeaten run in the Thembalethu Southern Region Women’s Soccer League stretched to 11 games after walloping Ubuntu 5-0 at TM Cowdray Park Grounds on Saturday.

The win took Inline Academy to 31 points to maintain a five-point lead ahead of second-place Magwegwe Stars, who beat ZRP Bulawayo 2-0.

The log leaders have been in impressive form since the beginning of the season, winning 10 times and drawing once.

New Orleans dismissed log anchors Sobukhazi 4-0 to move onto 17 points, one point behind fourth-placed ZRP Bulawayo. Sobukhazi are on five points.

Highlanders Royals were awarded a game on a 3-0 walkover in accordance with Article 9.4 of Zifa’s rules and regulation after police side Black Boots didn’t show up for the game.
