INLINE Academy displayed ruthless efficiency on Saturday, taking their unbeaten run to 14 games as they beat ZRP Bulawayo 3-0 away at Rose Camp Grounds in the Thembalethu Southern Region Women’s League match.

Goals apiece from the team’s top goal scorer Peacemore Kanende, Nolen Takaendisa and Siphosenkosi Gumede propelled Inline to victory as the log leaders continued in their quest for championship.

The win took Inline to 46 points, two ahead of Magwegwe Stars who beat New Orleans 1-0 to pile pressure on the log leaders. In another match, Blackboots beat Ubuntu 2-1 to dislodge their opponents from sixth place.

Inline Academy manager Priscilla Ncube was happy the pacesetters managed to maintain the unbeaten record with three games remaining as that puts them in a good position to win the championship. “Magwegwe Stars is right behind us in terms of points but we’re not worried about their form. We’re only focusing on our performance and the confidence in our camp is high,” said Ncube.
