A Silobela inyanga got himself in trouble after he was arrested for having sexual intercourse with his 13-year-old “girlfriend.”
The shameless inyanga, Fireman Ncube (42) had been sexually abusing the hapless Form One pupil for close to six months until the girl reported the matter to her parents.
Ncube has since been arraigned before a Kwekwe magistrate facing numerous counts of rape.
According to State papers, sometime in July 2018, Ncube proposed love to the Form One pupil but she turned him down.
But following the intervention of the complainant’s cousin, she consented to the proposal and the two started “dating”.
Sometime in August, the inyanga, again in connivance with the cousin, called the complainant to the gate.
The accused then dragged the girl into a nearby garden where he forced himself on the girl without protection.
The abuse would go on for months before all hell broke loose.
On 1 January this year, Ncube asked the complainant to accompany him to the shops but she declined.
This did not go down well with Ncube who slapped the girl twice on the face for refusing to accompany him to the shops.
Angered by this, the girl went to her parents where she narrated the whole abuse ordeal by the well-known sangoma.
The parents in turn made a police report leading to the arrest of the abusive sangoma and his subsequent appearance in court.
He was remanded in custody to 28 February.
