Iran delegation in Zimbabwe

A delegation from the Islamic Republic of Iran National Consultative Assembly is in the country on a reciprocal visit to discuss areas of cooperation and mutual concern.

The delegation is led by Sodaif Badri, who heads the Iran-Zimbabwe Friendship Association.

The association aims to foster stronger ties and cooperation between the two countries, promoting mutual understanding and development.

The delegation met the Parliamentary Portfolio Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Trade that is chaired by Cde Webster Shamu yesterday.

Mr Badri praised the cordial relations that exist between the two countries.

“The two countries enjoy excellent relations and we hope this can be reflected more in the economic field,” Mr Badri said.
