“I want to begin by congratulating Zimbabwe on its forthcoming Independence anniversary.
“I also want to congratulate you for carrying out a successful agricultural revolution that has seen our two countries co-operating in various fields.
“Iran started by extending financial assistance of US$3,5m to Zimbabwe before making available tractor spare parts, then the tractor assembly plant that is now making it possible for tractors to be assembled locally for the benefit of farmers,” he said.
Veterinary Bacterial Vaccines Research and Production manager with Raz Vaccine and Serum Research Institute of Iran, Dr Masoud Moghaddam Pour said they were in the country to assess how they can help Zimbabwe in the manufacturing of livestock vaccines.
