DJ E-Z Rock, real name Rodney Bryce, died last weekend according to reports. The rapper partnered with Rob Base to form a group in the 1980s that brought us the classic single “It Takes Two.”
Details surrounding his death are still not yet known, but he was aged 46 at the time he passed away.
The single “It Takes Two” is the duo’s biggest hit and both it and the album are certified platinum.
Together, Rob Base and DJ EZ Rock kept parties rocking with one of the most popular songs in history, “It Takes Two.” Now, the spin master has passed suddenl, according to reports.
Sources with AllHipHop said that DJ EZ Rock died from complications from a massive stroke and had been ailing. These accounts have yet to be confirmed.
Rob Base, the longtime rapper, sent his condolences on Facebook saying, “R.I.P Skip (DJ EZ Rock) friends since 4th grade I’m really going to miss you.”
