Martin Kweza has now officially thrown his withdrawal to leave only five candidates to run for the ZIFA top post.
Voting was supposed to start over 30mins ago, but there have been delays and councillors have been asked to wait outside as FIFA agents “fix” some equipment in the voting hall.
The atmosphere is pulpable and expectant.
There are stories of worry and anxiety written in the faces of candidates who continue to interact with the voters and the media, possibly canvassing with the former, for one last moment.
