JADEL Football Academy continues to blaze a trail with the nursery partnering with different corporates to reach out to marginalised communities in search of raw talent.
The academy, which was founded by former Zimbabwe youth international Walter “Ringers” Musanhu in Beijing, China, and now spread across Europe, has been taking children out of the streets, sending them back to school, especially in Mbare.
And, now, they have been penetrating rural communities where they have also set up satellite centres where trained technical experts frequently visit to provide proper guidance.
Jadel FA was in Mahusekwa last weekend where they partnered Mt Meru Zimbabwe and held a joint scouting tournament which saw over 10 players being identified.

Musanhu said: “I am delighted to be working with kids and youngsters across Zimbabwe. We have just realised that we were leaving marginalised communities especially in rural areas from our programs.
“Yet there is raw talent in these areas. Last weekend, we partnered Mt Meru Zimbabwe who were commemorating their 47th anniversary and we put together a huge tournament.
“We had our coaches including Stanford “Stix” Mutizwa available. We managed to identify and scout very good players who we have put into our structures. I can happily confirm that we now have Jadel Football Academy Mahusekwa.”
Mt Meru spokesperson Audrey Chiwandire hailed Jadel FA for changing lives across the country.
“We decided to partner Jadel FA after seeing their resume. They are a very good example of a properly run academy,” she said.
“We said as we commemorate our 47th anniversary, we decided to then partner with them. This is why we held a joint programme in Mahusekwa. We always want to see the marginalised communities getting the lift their talent deserves.
“We are really happy especially after seeing Jadel FA leaving a satellite in Mahusekwa through our efforts.”
