Jah Prayzah, ExQ compete for International Award

ZIMBABWEa��S man of the moment Jah Prayzah has been nominated for the Best Southern African Man Award to be held in Texas together with ExQ.

The awards event will be held on the night of 7 October at House of Blues, Dallas, Texas.

The dreadlocked muso was nominated among other African singers that include his fellow countrymen, ExQ and Ammara Brown.

The historical Kutonga Kwaro hitmaker sounded optimistic.

a�?I am looking forward to people voting for me. Ita��s a stiff competition, provided that my fellow countryman is also nominated in the same category.a�?

The African Muzik Magazine Award ceremony is the sole award ceremony in the Diaspora that caters to all musical genres including but not limited to: Afro beats, Assiko, Bongo, Decale, Funana, Genge, Hig.

The list of nominees hosts a long list of popular African acts, such as Twwa Savage, Davido, Mr Eazi, Ali Kiba, Wizkid and Diamond Platnumz.

The list, which is heavily male-dominated, also sees Kiss Daniel, well-known rapper Cassper Nyovest and South African group Mafikizolo receive nods for work released over the past year.
