Jah Prayzah for maiden UK tour

three shows during the tour that was organised by Diamond Studios director Steady Munyanyi.
The artiste who will leave the country in  three weeks time said he would not be moved by his debut stage appearance outside the country.
“I am happy with the support that the people have been giving me and I will use the same to buoy ourselves as Zimbabweans on this show,” he said.
He added: “I am happy with the chance I have been given and it is my first time to sing outside Zimbabwe. My music has been received within Zimbabwe and I hope those in the Diaspora will receive my music very well. I have heard many people saying they like my music and at the same time inviting me to perform in the UK. My music is different from that of other artistes who have toured the country before and I am happy that Zimbabweans in the UK are going to have a feel of what is happening home.
“During the tour I think it will be the chance to see how it feels to perform in front of a multi-racial crowd. My fans have to expect the best that will come out of Zimbabwe which is different from what they are used to,” he said.
He also expects to learn a lot when he shares the stage with Knox among other artistes.
“Knox has been in the music industry for quite some time. I have faith and I am looking forward to learning a lot from the way he performs,” Jah Prayzah said.
The artiste also said fans should expect a few surprises at the show.
Jah Prayzah rose to fame with his contemporary reggae hit “Sungano” proving to many that he was not a fluke on the music scene.
He followed this up with other crowd favourites like “Gochi Gochi”, “Maria” and “Ngwarira Kuparara” which have been well received by fans.
Jah Prayzah has three albums to his name, “Rudo nerunyararo”, “Sungano Yerudo” and “Ngwarira Kuparira”.
