JAH TAKES ALBUM TO UK. . . US tour dates still on as planned

JAH Prayzah takes his new album, ‘Ndini Mukudzeyi’, to the United Kingdom as he launches his world tour in Wolverhampton on Sunday.

Launched at Old Hararians Sports Club earlier this month, the album has been doing very well on various streaming platforms with YouTube being the most popular.

He revealed that general tickets for the May 25 gig in Wolverhampton, England, have been sold out.

“This has always been my dream. UK General Tickets SOLD OUT. Only a few VVIP tickets left.

“See you all on the 25th of May!

“My people in Germany, USA, Canada. You are next on the line-up.”

From the UK, Jah Prayzah is scheduled to perform in Dusseldorf, Germany, on May 31 while there is nothing lined up in June.

The popular musician has lined up international shows for the remainder of the year to promote his new album.

And, yesterday, his camp reassured fans that their tour of the United States was proceeding on July 4 and 5 in Washington DC and Dallas as originally announced. Some social media malcontents had circulated fake news that Jah Prayzah was forced to cancel the US leg of the world tour.

Jah Prayzah’s manager, Keen Mushapaidze, told H Metro that the social media claims were unfounded.

“There is no such thing, there have never been second thoughts about the shows, as originally announced, in the United States or anywhere else.

“The shows are on as announced,” said Mushapaidze.

Jah Prayzah yesterday took to social media to remind his fans that the tickets for the US leg of the world tour are currently selling.

“DC and DALLAS, Get your tickets now. #NdiniMukudzeyi World Tour is not stopping for anyone,” he posted.

He resumes the world tour in July with the US double, which will be followed by Toronto in Canada, on July 11.

From Canada, Jah Prayzah will be performing in Japan on July 15.

The world tour then takes a lengthy break until October when he stages two shows in South Africa with Johannesburg on August 3 and Cape Town the following day.

Australia and Harare will stage the final shows of the world tour in November with the dates for the gig down under still to be finalised. The HICC show will conclude proceedings on November 29.
