Jekwa fight on

The school was given a minibus for winning the fiesta last year.
The event, code-named National Trust for Schools Excellence, will see 10 primary and six secondary schools competing in football and netball.

The trust chairman, Juliana Sabarauta, said they want to make the 2012 event a memorable one.
“The aim of the project is to produce talented players from both soccer and netball,” said Sabarauta.

“There is need to identify talent from grassroots and we also look for assistance from former students of the schools. The sports do not end at the grounds only as we look forward to donations like books from old students. Last year the event went on well and we look forward to surpassing the 2011 edition of the fiesta.”
