WATERFALLS-based apostolic sect, Johane  Masowe eChishanu, has joined the anti-drug abuse campaign through prayers.

Led by Daniel “Boss Benji” Matamba, the church has been campaigning against drug  and substance abuse such as mutoriro.

Madzibaba Owen Chingondi, who made news after arriving at the apostolic shrine in Chitungwiza on November 7, 2022, on board a chopper, also attended the service.

The service was graced by Madzibaba Moses, Madzibaba Dhashu and Madzibaba Murungu.

He said they have resorted to praying as a way of fighting drug abuse as it has been affecting many lives.

Boss Benji said it was his goal to empower young people in the drive to eradicate drug abuse.

“Communities are fed up with illicit drugs and Mapostori will work closely with law enforcement authorities by providing information and intelligence on drug-related activities gathered by our eyes and ears in the communities.

“We will not tolerate the menace of illicit drugs and drug dealers in our communities,” he said.
