JOY AS LONG EXILE ENDS IN HEROIC DEFEAT

ZIMBABWE lost by an innings and 45 runs to England in their comeback Test but there was amazing joy at Trent Bridge among their fans.

It’s something captain Craig Ervine noticed.

“We had an idea that there was going to be a lot of support for us and there’s a lot more fans out there today than there was yesterday. We can hear them singing from up in the changing room where we were sitting, and it’s pretty special.”
