DANCEHALL disc jockeys group Judgment Yard, dancehall whiz kid Ras Pompy and Harare-based dance group Night Angels will tomorrow (Saturday) entertain Mutare fun lovers at popular entertainment spot Mandisa Nite Club.
This is the group’s maiden shows at the revitalised leisure centre that is now in the hands of show promoter and enthusiast Boniface Nyamanhindi. The venue is usually full to capacity every weekend as it brings a variety of entertainers from disc jockeys to dance groups. This weekend will see Judgment Yard rocking the eastern border city with some sizzling reggae and dancehall music that appeals to all group ages.
Judgment Yard boasts of more than 20 volumes of mixtape series.
In an interview, Nyamanhindi said the waist-wriggling dancers Night Angels (pictured) will entertain fun lovers on Saturday and Sunday while the ever-rising dancehall chanter Ras Pompy will entertain fun lovers on Saturday evening.
Born Reginald Punch, the 15-year-old budding artiste who is a darling for many, boasts of fine songs such as Nzira dzavakoma and Style and Pattern.
“We have revitalised this place to become one of the leading entertainment spots. The three groups will be partnered by several other musicians and wheel spinners including our own DJ Silver Vee. We will on a weekly basis bring different dance groups among other entertainers in a bid to bring a variety of entertainment to our beloved patrons. We ensure tight security and we are looking forward to having an exhilarating fun-filled weekend,” Nyamanhindi said.
