Just believe, God is ready

Pauline Matanda

“THEN the Lord said to me, ‘You have seen well, for I am ready to perform My word.’” — Jeremiah 1:12

In this scripture, God is saying He will keep watch over His word to give effect to it. Our God is a promise keeper; He is not like men, who change their minds depending on the mood they are in. When He says it, He means it.

God is saying: “l am ready to perform My Word.” God is His word; Him and His word are one. What He said, He will do, and in this case, He will hasten to perform.  Believe it and receive it.

Take time to reflect what God said in His word concerning your life; He is ready to do it.  God has spoken and continues to speak to us in various ways — through dreams, sermons, reading the Bible and even the prophetic word.

God can even drop a thought in you and when you implement it, it becomes a wonder. When God speaks, please pay attention.

He will always make efforts to connect with you, thus, resolve to connect with Him.

Faith in God requires that we focus on understanding the promises God shows us. Jeremiah is shown a vision by God, and when asked to explain what he saw, God confirmed that he had seen well.  Are we able to understand the promises of God?

Do we believe God stands firm to fulfil His word? When we do not waver from the promises of God, our faith grows. Have the wisdom to hold on to the promises of God because in them there is life.

Understand God’s will for your life and believe He stands to fulfil His word because “faithful” is His name.
