JUST IN: Finance Minister launches translated NDS1

Finance and Economic Development Minister Professor Mthuli Ncube has launched the translated versions of the National Development Strategy 1, in a move expected to see increased participation of locals in development projects that impact them.

Prof Ncube launched the translated versions in Harare this afternoon.

Speaking during the launch, Prof Ncube said: “This momentous occasion signifies our collective aspirations, determination and tenacity as a people to achieve national vision to become ‘an empowered and prosperous upper middle-income society by 2030′”

The NDS1, a successor blueprint to the Transitional Stabilisation Programme, runs from this year to 2025. It has been translated into 14 local languages, braille and sign language.
