JUST IN: President arrives to launch National Data Centre

President Mnangagwa is set to launch the National Data Centre today, a key anchor of e-Government initiatives which is an integral component of National Development Strategy 1.

President Mnangagwa has since arrived at the centre where he is set to launch the Data Centre a critical driver of Government modernisation thrust.

It seeks to consolidate services, applications, infrastructure in order to provide efficient electronic services among Government departments, between Government and citizens, as well as between Government and business.

Among those in attendance are Vice Presidents Constantino Chiwenga and Kembo Mohadi, Government Ministers and senior Government officials.
