TRIANGLE United yesterday officially unveiled Zambian Kelvin Kaindu as their new head coach with Biggie Zuze as first assistant and former ZPC Kariba goalkeepers’ coach Tembo Chuma coming in as another assistant.
Chuma takes over from Gift Muzadzi who joined Dynamos after the expiry of his contract.
Vice chairman Martin Maticha Sibanda introduced the coaches to the players in front of few supporters at Mufakose training grounds in Triangle.
“As it stands out the technical bench is as follows, head coach is Kelvin Kaindu, assistant coach is Biggie Zuze and we welcome Tembo Chuma who is the all-rounder as the goalkeepers coach”, said Sibanda.
Triangle executive member and Zifa Eastern region chairman Piraishe Mabhena welcomed the players and introduced new recruit Marlvin Gaki who joined on a two-year deal from Chiredzi as well as big Zambian international and former Zanaco striker Anthony Sakala.
“I welcome everyone present and hope you’re going to add value to our team, we wish you the best in 2015 and hope that you’re going to improve this team’s performance,” said Mabhena.
He also announced that there were a few more new players coming but did not disclose names saying deals are yet to be finalised.
Close sources however revealed that out of contract Highlanders player Charles Sibanda, Limited Chikafa and Pride Tafirenyika of ZPC Kariba might be on their way to the Lowveld.
