Kaitano Tembo in limbo

Online Reporter

Kaitano Tembo might have to wait a little longer before he can secure a new job in South Africa’s DStv Premiership following reports Amazulu could retain their caretaker coach.

Tembo has been out of a job since he was given the sack at Supersport United in April after a string of uninspiring results.

The former Dynamos defender had been linked with a move to Amazulu, who also fired Benny McCarthy before replacing the ex-Bafana Bafana striker with caretaker coach Brandon Truter.

However, the move is now highly unlikely as Amazulu are now keen on retaining Truter.

Tembo has also been linked with the Zimbabwe national team job although the country is currently suspended by FIFA.
