Kingstone Nkhata and Siyabonga Nkosi also scored as Kapini suffered his most humiliating defeat since moving to South Africa.
Kapini told Kick-Off.Com that the players let themselves and their fans down
“It wasn’t such bad performance, we just conceded easy goals.
“Sometimes you can play well but not score goals, or sometimes play well and concede goals.
“I think we let ourselves down as a team. After conceding the first goal we didn’t motivate ourselves, we let our heads drop.
I think Chiefs capitalised on that to score the six goals,” said Kapini. The Zimbabwean international promised AmaZulu’s fans that they will bounce back immediately, starting with their game against Maritzburg United.
“It was an embarrassing defeat and we want to apologise to our fans.
We just have to keep our heads high and try to bounce back in our next game,” Kapini says. — Kick-Off.Com/Sports Reporter.
