Patel’s ashes interred at National Heroes Acre

Yogesh said his father was a devout Hindu who respected other religions, took pride in Indian origin and heritage, but took even greater pride in his Zimbabwean identity.
“He had a good sense of humour and generally he was self effacing.
“He taught us the values of discipline, hard work, education, service to others, family, community and country.”
Yogesh thanked the President, the Presidium, the Zanu-PF Central Committee, the National Consultative Assembly, Zanu-PF members and Zimbabwe as a whole for according his father national hero status.
