Karate team brings 8 medals from Namibia

THE Zimbabwe karate team returned home from the AUSC Region 5 Games with several medals on Sunday.

They team managed to amass eight medals both as teams and individuals.

Both boys and girls’ teams managed to bring home bronze medals in the kata style.

Geraldine Muusha and Lovemore Mutune, who won bronze medals in individual kata, inspired their teams to the podium.

Mutune was outstanding as he won a silver medal in the 68kg kumite style as well.
