MOUNTAINEERS batsman Kevin Kasuza feels honoured to be included in the Zimbabwe A side that will play against South Africa developmental side tomorrow in Bulawayo.

The Mutare-born batsman has been recalled to the Zimbabwe A side after finishing as the leading run-scorer in the just-ended domestic league season.

Kasuza said it was his time to shine. “I am very happy to be part of the team that will face the South African developmental side. It will give me an opportunity to showcase what I am made of,’’ he said.

“I am very grateful to my coach Douglas Hondo who has included me in the team. It will really motivate me and I will work very hard to book a place in the (senior) national team.”

The team trooped into camp in Harare two weeks ago with the first four-day match slated for Bulawayo’s Queens Sports Club. The two teams will move to Kwekwe Sports Club for the second match from August 9-12.
