A 44-YEAR-OLD man from Glenview, Harare is pleading for public help to raise the remaining US$7,000 needed for a life-saving kidney transplant in India.
Tapiwa Makwangudze’s condition is critical and doctors have recommended an urgent transplant. The procedure, including travel and hospital costs, is expected to cost over US$25,000.

So far, family, friends and colleagues have managed to raise US$18,027.20 through a GoFundMe campaign, but time is running out.
“We’re so close, but we need your help to get over the line. No amount is too small,” said a family spokesperson.
