THE sleepy town of Chipinge is tomorrow (Saturday) set to be set ablaze as it hosts Zimbabwe’s sought after Zim dancehall artistes, Killer T, Freeman and Seh Calaz at Siketaal Wayside Inn located along Mount Selinda Road.
The entertainment starved area which normally enjoys entertainment from local deejays and performers will see the three taking turns to entertain fun lovers for the first time in many years.
Local talents such as Ganja Sniffer, Fortan B, The Sosary Family and Culture Love are also lined up to perform at the venue which is located a few kilometres from Chipinge town.
Event organiser, Lazarus Mapuya, said the Saturday show is expected to be explosive as some of the country’s celebrated Zim dancehall artistes will serenade fans.
“There will be a clash for Zim dancehall artistes at Sikataal Wayside on Saturday. We are expecting explosive displays by some of the finest artistes in the country.
“This is one of the historic entertainment events in the town where we will see three prolific artistes sharing the same stage. We hope to record a full house with revellers coming in their numbers to have the time of their lives,” he said.
Mapuya added that local artistes will not be left out.
“We have also lined up slots for our local Zim dancehall artistes. This is an opportunity for them to show that they are also crowd pullers.
“We have great talents in Chipinge who can grow to be household names if their shows are marketed. Tight security is guaranteed,” he said.
