NAPH ball games national finals roll into life

NATIONAL Association for Primary Heads (NAPH) ball games national finals have begun in Mutare where Manicaland is hosting the 2026 edition of the competitions.

All the 10 provinces are represented by their best athletes selected during their respective provincial finals.

Manicaland were the 2025 winners of these games after scooping a total of eight medals, five gold, two silver and one bronze, while second placed Mashonaland West had a total of seven medals three gold, three silver and one bronze.

Harare Province weighed in third position with a total of five medals, two gold, two silver and one bronze.

Mashonaland Central was in fourth position with a total of five medals, one gold, one silver and three bronze, while Bulawayo settled for fifth position with a total of three medals, one gold, one silver and one bronze.

Masvingo Province anchored the table after failing to get a single medal in all sporting genres that provincial teams competed in the NAPH ball games 2025 edition.
