DANCEHALL chanter, Killer T, has been roped in to take charge of the Kadoma Festival pre-show celebration at Odyssey Hotel tonight.

The Kana Ndanyura hitmaker will pave the way for heavyweights including Diamond Platnumz, Winky D Jah Prayzah and Alick Macheso who perform tomorrow at the same venue.

With such a formidable line-up, this could be the biggest musical show on the local calendar this year.

“Hazvipere mushe, munhu wese ngatisanganeyi pa Odyssey, Kadoma, for a massive pre-show, it’s going to be lit,” said Killer T.

Saintfloew, Gemma Griffiths and Kurai Makore will also perform at this edition of the festival which has already triggered a wave of euphoria among music farms in the small town.

Tanzanian superstar, Diamond Platnumz, is expected to arrive in the country at noon today ahead of his performance tomorrow.

He is expected to address a press conference at the Robert Gabriel Mugabe International Airport.

“We are ready for the biggest musical show of this summer as we host an array of stars in a small town.

“Diamond Platnumz arrives at midday and he will host a number of interviews and meet fellow artists,” said the organisers.

Jah Prayzah and Diamond Platnumz’s reunion is likely to generate a lot of interest among many fans who still sing along to their hit song, ‘Watora Mari.’

“Get your tickets, we are ready to give you the best festival experience ever,” said Jah Prayzah.

The festival organisers have also partnered with Discovery Ambulance Services for a community medical outreach and wellness campaign.

This will be carried out by a team of experienced doctors and paramedics.
