From her sister Khloe getting horribly drunk at the rehearsal dinner to last minute no-shows on the day, the wedding of the year wasn’t as picture perfect as it appeared, admitted the bride during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Monday night.
Kim said their guests ‘drank way too much’ the night before the May wedding at the Palace Of Versailles in France, including her 29-year-old sister.
‘Khloe drank a little too much the night before and I had to wake her up,’ said the 33-year-old. ‘She was laying down and getting her makeup done while she was sleeping, she was so hungover.’
Kim added that perhaps everyone had too much of a ‘good time’ at the historic venue.
The couple tied the knot the following day at the Forte di Belvedere in Florence, Italy.
Kim said the pair ‘tried to trick everyone’ as to where the ceremony would be held, but when the information was leaked ‘it kind of sucked.’
‘We really wanted to surprise everyone and say it was a different country [to France],’ she said.
As to why they chose France and Italy, Kim said: ‘We fell in love in Paris, I got pregnant with our daughter in Florence… we wanted to share our love story.’ — Mailonline.
