adminDANCEHALL chanter King Shaddy, whose real name is Shadreck Kwarire, will rock Mutare’s Soul City tonight (Friday) at the dancehall fiesta night.
He will be performing together with his side-kick, Junior King, who is currently promoting his latest single, Chamba Chinondipa Knowledge, produced in June.
With controversy always following him because of his remix of other musicians songs, his most recent feud was with renowned gospel star pastor Charles Charamba after he remixed the hit song ” Machira chete” without Charamba’s permission.
King Shaddy’s ‘‘Machira chete’ remix also turned gold on the local airwaves and the dancehall chanter went further to produce a video in September last year.
Soul City co-director Tichaona “DJ Fresh” Zhuwau confirmed the show. “He has agreed to come and we have already paid his deposit, so all preparations are in order,” said DJ Fresh. The club’s resident DJs Fresh, Foemix, Snaxx, Hollies-B and guest DJ Sir Archie will support the event on the day.
