Kumalo linked to Strikers FC job

where he is said to be on the verge of landing the coaching job at Strikers FC.
Strikers FC are in the Zifa Central Region Division One Soccer League and they will be competing with the likes of Chapungu, Tripple B and Chrome Stars for a Premiership slot.
This reporter spotted Kumalo at the border town on Wednesday night and the former Highlanders, Lancashire Steel and Zimbabwe Saints coach was reluctant to disclose his business in Beitbridge.
“I am here to sort out a few things and if anything concrete comes up I will let you know. Actually you will be among the first to know,” Kumalo said.
According to sources, Kumalo brought with him a number of veteran players to Beitbridge.
Ex-Njube Sundowns, Highlanders and Zimbabwe Saints utility player Danisa Phiri, former Highlanders and Quelaton striker Patrick ‘Mboma’ Mpofu, Kenny ‘Dokoza’ Msimanga, Wellington ‘Agrippa’ Sibanda, Vorster Chitemu, Gift ‘Ruff-ruff’ Phiri and Petros Ngodzo are some of the players at Strikers FC.
“These players have been here for over a week and they are training at a secret venue. They should be meeting their boss Roy today for contracts. Mawii (Kumalo) is the one who is taking them through their paces. I think competition will be tough in Division One as these boys at Strikers FC have said they want money and they can only get it once their team wins matches,” said the source.
