SENSATIONAL rhumba songbird Lady Storm, who swept to fame after featuring on Jah Prayzah’s video Eriza, will date her Bulawayo fans on Friday.

Born Lynn Magodo, Lady Storm has shared the stage with the likes of Oliver Mtukudzi and every time she has danced and sang, spotting her trademark school uniform, many a man is left mesmerised and astounded.

The former Zimbabwe National Army soldier will come back to her base city, Bulawayo and perform at Stanley Hall in Makokoba on November 4. Entrance to the show is pegged at $2 till late.

Lady Storm will be supported by local groups such as Khaya Arts, chanter Brenda and Zimdancehall artistes from Bulawayo.

Organiser of the show Richard Mhakure said fans should come and have fun, braai and drink the night away with the musicians.

“We saw that in Makokoba in terms of entertainment there’s a lot of support from the residents there. So the groups will sing and dance with Eriza being the main act,” said Mhakure. He said Lady Storm would move around the city to meet fans. Lady Storm will arrive in Bulawayo on the day of the show and most probably hold a road show. This is for fans to catch a glimpse of her before the show in the evening,” said Mhakure.
