A GRANDDAUGHTER of a landlord in Warren Park 1 allegedly forced herself, on multiple occasions, on a ten-year-old schoolboy.
Fadzai Chimboza was not asked to plead when she appeared before Harare regional magistrate Tilda Mazhande, who remanded her in custody to January 29.
Because she is facing a third schedule offence, she was advised to approach the High Court for bail considerations.
Chimboza is the granddaughter of the landlord of the house where the boy stays with his parents.
The court heard that in April last year, the boy came back from school and Chimboza pulled him and dragged him into her room.
She allegedly removed the boy’s clothes and told him to sleep on the bed.
When he asked her to stop she responded by saying, ‘NDINODA KUKUITA ZVISINA KUKWANA.’
She forced herself on the boy.
She allegedly then forced herself on the boy a number of times after that.
The matter came to light on December 19 when the boy told his cousin that he had sexual intercourse with his girlfriend and his mother overheard him.
A police report of aggravated indecent assault was made, leading to Chimboza’s arrest.
