After captivating audiences on some of the world’s biggest stages, Zimbabwean comedy sensation Learnmore Jonasi is finally heading home for a nationwide tour.
The award-winning comedian has announced dates for the Whose Lion Is It Anyway? tour, giving local fans their first opportunity to watch him perform live on home soil since his meteoric rise to international fame.

The tour kicks off in Chimanimani on August 8 before making its way to Bulawayo on August 14 and Masvingo on August 15. Jonasi will wrap up the homecoming tour with two performances at Reps Theatre in Harare on August 21 and 22.
The announcement has generated excitement among fans who have followed Jonasi’s remarkable journey over the past year, during which he emerged as one of Zimbabwe’s most successful entertainment exports.
His profile soared after impressing global audiences with his appearance on America’s Got Talent, a breakthrough that opened doors to international stages and saw him perform alongside some of the world’s leading comedians.
Now, the comic is bringing that global experience back to Zimbabwe, with audiences expected to enjoy his trademark blend of witty storytelling, clever observations and relatable humour inspired by everyday life.
Adding to the excitement is the tour’s intriguing title, Whose Lion Is It Anyway?, a playful nod to the viral “Lion King” debate that dominated social media earlier this year. Jonasi has cleverly transformed the trending topic into fresh comedic material.
