Leisure Centre Pool Club crowned NPPL champions for 2024 season

The Nevsun Premier Pool League (NPPL) 2024 season ended in spectacular fashion, with Leisure Centre Pool Club emerging as champions.

The club notched up 22 victories in 26 matches, earning them 66 points.

The club took home the $10 000 grand prize.

This marks a historic moment for the club, as they continue to dominate the sport and inspire the community.

Leisure Centre Pool Club patron Dr Erasmus Makoza was modest in victory.

“This victory is not just for the players but for the entire Leisure Centre family and our community,” he said.

“It is a testament to what we can achieve with unity, hard work, and belief.”

The league’s chairman Chingetai Mavuza said, “I am incredibly proud of this team. “They have set a new benchmark for excellence, and we are committed to ensuring that Leisure Centre remains a force to reckon with in Zimbabwean pool.”

League sponsor Morffat Moyo also congratulated the club.

“Leisure Centre’s victory demonstrates the depth of talent and passion in the NPPL,” he said.

“I am proud to be associated with a league that showcases such incredible dedication and skill.”
