He said this yesterday at Manyene Holy Cross in Chikomba while addressing mourners at the burial of First Lady Amai Grace Mugabe’s aunt Ms Mavis Mugadza.
“Vanhu vatsvedza . . . Tsvangirai auya achichinja . . . Ko iye munomuona anochinja zvinhu? Ini ndakati wangu mudzimai handichinje.
“Ko ichinjazve, zvino ini ndinoti pandakamira ndipapo.”
He said Zanu-PF is a people’s party.
President Mugabe said Zimbabweans should defend the gains of independence.
He reiterated that the land reform was irreversible.
“Tirikuti tirivenyika, ivhu nderedu, ndopatakamira. Do or die…”
President Mugabe said revolutionaries wanted people’s lives uplifted through inputs support.
He said the MDC formations were reluctant to give input support to resettled farmers.
The MDC formations, he said, wanted resettled farmers to fail to justify why former white farmers should be given back the land.
President Mugabe said farmers would benefit from the Presidential Well-Wishers’ Special Agricultural Inputs Scheme.
He said mechanisms had been put in place to make sure the inputs were properly distributed.
President Mugabe said Treasury’s failure to pay fertiliser manufacturers had resulted in the companies failing to produce this year until they are paid.
Zanu-PF, President Mugabe said, was people-oriented.
He said Mbuya Mugadza was a God-fearing woman who raised her family in Christ.
Amai Mugabe said it was important for Zimbabweans to respect President Mugabe for the role he has played in empowering the masses.
“His leadership has anointing from God . . . If we were sell-outs, do you think he would sacrifice me and the children because of politics?”
She said President Mugabe’s children could not enroll at schools outside Zimbabwe because of politics.

She said wisdom was a virtue that every human being was supposed to seek.
Mbuya Mugadza died on Friday at the age of 80. She leaves behind two daughters, 11 grand children and 14 great-grand children.
