Editor: NSSA caught out by the Retired Judge George Smith Commission on conversion from ZW$ to US$ who have recommended NSSA stops paying a flat pension of $80 to all ZW$ pensioners when they were paying a percentage of their salaries for varying periods of times.
We have been asking why it was so but would not listen! It’s common sense and only fair NSSA should have seen the unfairness instead of waiting to be told how to do their job by a Commission when they have learned executives trained to do better than what they have been doing deliberately impoverishing helpless elderly while reportedly earning high.
What has become of the Retired Judge George Smith Commission Report Its recommendations on pensions to NSSA reforms and compensation?
Silence on this long drawn issue is worrying and pensioners are requesting to authorities to put closure to their plight.
One hopes NSSA & other Pension Funds so caught on the off side will be pushed by winds of change and new dispensation within the 100-day to account on this serious oversight to give the long oppressed pensioners a deserved cheer for Christmas!
