Letters to the Editor: Zacc means business

Mudzimu Mukuru

It looks like Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission (Zacc) really means business if recent developments are anything to go by.

In the past few days, we have seen numerous high profile arrests and we are hoping to see more.

This is a big statement which shows that no one is above the law.

It is now clear that the outgoing members of this body were not really doing their job.

To make matters worse, as highlighted in one of your articles, the ex-Zacc bosses also vanished with dockets. This clearly shows that something fishy has been happening behind the scenes. Investigations must be carried out and if these people were protecting criminal activities, they need to be arrested and prosecuted.

I am glad that Zacc is now carrying out its mandate of fighting corruption, rather than protecting it. Keep up the good work.
