I believe this article finds you well. Today I will be talking about expectations. You see as we grow up, everybody expects many things to happen in life. But as time goes on, some begin to belittle themselves expecting less and less everyday until probably there is no more expectation!
Acts 3;1-7 tell us of a man “who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple asked an alms, And Peter fastening his eyes upon him with John said, ‘Look on us.’ And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them.” He had expected to get coins, money! Nevertheless he got something better than what he expected! He got healing! O hallelujah.
What you expect is what you get. If you think your tomorrow will be greater than your yesterday, it will be so. Today expect something greater for your life! If your dreams don’t scare you, dream again.
Someone’s miracle is in this article. The Lord is ready to cross you over to another dimension. The very place the enemy said you will not reach, you will go far beyond that for, our God is able to do exceedingly, abundantly, above all that you may ask or think of! But what you expect is also important!!
The desires of your heart matters. Don’t be a man or woman with no desire in your heart. What you need doesn’t come from the preacher, it comes from above. Those who desire anointing, anointing, they will have, even starting today. In need of peace? Peace is right at your doorstep! It has come. O hallelujah! When the Lord send a word to us, He will not allow it to return to Him void!!
You have been remembered. In this year of Acceleration expect bigger things to happen. The Bible says, pray and watch. To watch is to expect! Don’t stress about fees, God is Jehovah Jaireh , meaning your provider. Expect provision! He is not a man that He can lie! After creating you, He said, “behold it is good” so don’t fear. To all church leaders, see beyond what an eye can see. Instead of seeing 15 congregants, see 150. The just will live by faith. Just expect much! Expect a growing prosperous righteous church! Some work overseas, but sleep in a corner of a shabby house, in the name of we are building back in our home country. Time waits for nobody,build were you work, the day you will retire, sell the house,then you go and buy one in your country. Its not right to forever rent in somebody’s house. You earn money just as your landlord. Nothing can stop you from building for yourself. Just lift up your expectations! Nothing shall be impossible!
Tell yourself I’m going to be an employer one day! I was just sleeping, but I am a giant. You get things when your heart desires it, not when pastors lay hands on you. If they lay hands whilst you have no expectations for anything. No one stamps an empty paper ,except when it is written something. Where you are today is not were you are supposed to be! You are somebody. Don’t die before you are dead.
Enough is enough, refuse to be ordinary, you are somebody, let now be your time,shake yourself, tell yourself, my time is now! Change your expectation and begin to think high. You are not going to be average, refuse to be an ordinary preacher, business person or whatever your field is. Everybody has a gift, let it rise up.
I challenge you today if God anoints others, why can’t He anoint you? You too can cast out demons, you can prophesy and preach. Higher expectations are needed. As I have said, we are sleeping giants only. Ladies and gentlemen, you are too mild, you must be hot in the Lord. God prepared higher things for you, stop expecting low things. God is ready, are you ready? For with God all things are possible: Mark 10:27
