12:40 – In an update on Ward 4, Election Officer – Mr Lewis Bhila – said voting started on a low note but gradually improved around 10am at a polling station at Sakubva Primary School in Mutare for the local authority seat. He said by mid-day 302 men had voted while 317 women had cast their vote
12:55 – Mr Bhila said some voters who were not registered in Ward 4 and those who did not have valid identity particulars were turned away

15:15 – There is low turnout of voters at Gaza O Primary School polling station in Ward 2 of Chipinge. The ward has 1467 registered voters
15:50 – In the afternoon, people were still voting at Tent CA polling station in Gimboki South under Dangamvura-Chikanga constituency
16:37 – Statistics compiled at 4pm at Maruma Primary School in Makoni North indicate that 140 people had voted. Of these, 74 are men and 66 are women. The ward has 230 registered voters, meaning 90 people had not yet voted, and will have up to 7pm to do so. Voting is taking place in a very peaceful environment
16:51 – Of the total number of registered voters (230), 120 are men and 110 are women
