A local non-governmental organisation (NGO), Jekesa Pfungwa Vulingqondo (JPV) has partnered the Government in carrying out a social mobilisation programme aimed at encouraging citizens to be actively involved in the development of their communities.
This was revealed by the executive director of Jekesa Pfungwa Vulingqondo (JPV), Mrs Bertha Jambaya, during a stakeholders’ sensitisation meeting that was held at the Goromonzi District Development Coordinator (DDC)’s offices today (Friday).
Mrs Jambaya told the stakeholders that members of the community need to be mobilised to work in partnership with other stakeholders and Government departments for the development of the country in line with the objectives of Vision 2030.
