The trip was organised by the Zimbabwe-China Friendship Association.
The educators were drawn from the country’s 10 provinces and they are all women.
Head of delegation Cde Mandi Chimene, who is ZCFA deputy president, said the trip was an eye opener for the teachers.
“They need to be exposed to other countries’ policies so that they can apply them here where possible,” she said.
Cde Chimene said it was important that more Zimbabweans visited China.
Delegation chairperson, Mrs Victoria Chimonyo said they had learnt a lot in China.
“We were given the desire to improve our education system because of what we saw in China,” she said.
“We had discussions with several people on educational issues and we want to thank Cde Chimene for facilitating the trip.”
Ms Pamela Mukura from Chikanga Secondary School said there was need for exchange programmes in education between the two countries.
Beulah Heights Secondary School teacher Ms Gloria Nikisi said there was need for Zimbabweans to be proud of their culture like what the Chinese do with theirs.
