Love is in the air

everyone falls in love and it just depends how deep your love is.
Since I am in a merry mood I don’t want to spoil your day by harping on what’s love or how to love, instead, I am going to continue from last week’s theme of Valentine by giving you a run down of what’s in store on DStv.
The majority of programming is on romantic comedies (romcom) and stuff like that for those who want to celebrate love. Next week we will give you behind-the- scenes of ZBCTV’s freshest production “Young Gifted and Talented” which is making a buzz on the airwaves.

BBC LIFESTYLE (DStv Channel 180)
Four Weddings – Celebrity Special: Four Weddings provides a ringside seat for the planning, preparation and big day itself, following the journey of four fiancées as they hurtle towards what should be the happiest day of their lives. But the brides-to-be are involved in a competition, and while each “contestant” is getting hitched, the other three guest brides must cast judgment and secretly score each special day.
Everything must be taken into consideration, from the service and food to the entertainment and even the groom. The bride with the highest score at the end of each episode wins the ultimate prize; a five star dream honeymoon.
DStv audiences can tune into BBC Lifestyle on Thursday 16 February at 20:00 CAT to watch this celebrity special featuring comic Francine, ex-footballer Jason Cundy, Apprentice candidate Katie, and ‘80s pop star David Van Day as they aim to impress.
My Fair Wedding (Season 2 Premiere): The My Fair Wedding team rescue soon-to-be-disaster weddings and teach the brides how a wedding should be done. The experts have their work cut out for them in series two when Quiana Morgan unveils her plans for a Winter Wonderland themed wedding – the only hitch is that the big day is scheduled for Spring. Can the team turn this disaster around in time for their big day?
Also featured in the series are a couple who can’t decide on a theme at all, a ceremony themed around the bride-to-be’s favourite drink – pink merlot – and a bride obsessed with purple and monograms.
AFRICA MAGIC (DStv Channel 114)
Don’t miss “The Love of My Life Festival” which premieres on Tuesday nights in February on Africa Magic on DStv.
Buy Me A Rose: James couldn’t believe his luck when the community doctor decides to pay for his university education. When he gets to university, he falls in love with Mimi, the daughter of the Senate President. The only problem is that he’s not of her social standing or class. Oju Ogun Ya: A male musician performs in a village and falls in love with a woman there. The woman as it turns out was quite smitten with him. DStv audiences can tune into Africa Magic Yoruba on Monday 20 February at 21:30 CAT to watch. Cast: Laide Bakare, Peter Fatomilola and Bisola Badmus.
MTV BASE (DStv Channel 322)
Valentine’s Day: This Valentine’s Day on MTV Base you can find an evening of music for the lover in you, with artistes like Robin Thicke and Ne-Yo taking you on the love train in the Slow Down Zone and with shows like Trey Songz Unplugged and Storytellers Maxwell – you are in for an amazing day.
AFRICA MAGIC HAUSA (DStv Channel 117)
Garajen Kawa: Jamila, a beautiful young graduate snubs a man who tries to ask her out at her university. She starts dating another man only to realise that the man she snubbed could be the man of her dreams.
