Lowveld Agric Show attracts new exhibitors

THE Lowveld Agricultural Show kicks off in Chiredzi this week under the theme “Sustainable Utilisation of Economic Resources in the Lowveld”.

Event organiser Graham Murindagomo said a number of new companies have applied for space with more entertainment groups expected to keep the show alive. “We’ve 48 stands at our disposal for commercial, industrial and agricultural exhibitors.

“About 75 percent of the stands have been taken now and by end of this week the remaining 25 percent will be gone,” he said early last week.

Murindagomo said exhibitors had started attending to their stands in preparation for the show.

They include the Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP), Zimbabwe Prisons and Correctional Services and small to medium enterprises.

Zimbabwe Parks and Wildlife Management Authority, ZETDC, POSB, Forestry Commission, Hippo Valley and Triangle Estates are also participating.

Murindagomo said while previous editions have been graced by local companies only, 2015 has attracted many companies from outside Masvingo province.
